I remember a time when LEGO was purely danish, the blocks only came in 6 different colours and consisted out of 10 shapes. (Yup. I'm that old.) Everybody kept huge amounts of LEGO in a plastic IKEA-box under their bed, and tried their best to build marvelous creations without the help of stickers, specially molded pieces, pneumatics, schematics etc. Those were the days...and most of the stuff we constructed looked like shit. Anyway, nowadays you can build your own RC-racer out of LEGO, and man, they are fast!
