YinYang

Bad, bad Nitrome... Seems that they stole the idea for their latest game from a guy named Sean Howard and didn't even bother to give him any credits. (See comments). Thanks for the heads up, Mathijsbuster.

Can't help but again marvel at the speed wich Nitrome puts out amazing new games. Posted one last week, and here's a brand new one! Clever concept to enhance an otherwise pretty straightforward platformer. You need to get both Yin and Yang to the finishing flag. Yin moves only in the black areas and vice versa. You can swap between them and with a small amount of strategy make 'em help eachother out by moving boxes. Sometimes you have to spin the whole level around to reach some hard to get to places. Watch out for worms and collect the coins. Very clever and enjoyable. At least for me as I'm home on sickleave today and can surf the web to my hearts delight without having to hide it from the boss...

Hmm, looks like someone has been taking ideas from 'Three Hundred' (three hundred game ideas):

Specifically, this idea:

If you have some time, take a look at the other ideas, they are very creative, and I'd love to see some of them turned into actual games. ^^

I'm happy Nitrome worked this idea out, since it seemed very original, however, if they actually took their idea from there, I'd think a little mention in the credits would've been the least they could do. o.O

Damn! You're absolutely right...Sure seems to be more than just "taking inspiration" from, it's nothing less than a rip off. Hmmm. If not Sean Howard actually had something to do with the game being developed by Nitrome..?

And yeah, he's got some really interesting ideas for other games as well!

It's total rip off. Evil, evil Nitrome, would be interesting to see if they reply to this.

Well.. a reply has come indeed.
Read his blog. Seems that they're threatening Sean with a lawsuit now? Also, they seem to be challenging him.

This is crazy.. I used to love Nitrome's games, but this...

I hope this resolves soon and both parties can settle this like gentlemen.
