Beautiful and moody, (but maybe a bit too slow), point 'n click adventure with a chinese theme. The game is an ongoing community effort, so it's still under development storywise - but really worth a try. This might explain the slight inconsistencies in animation and graphics. One of the best puzzlers I've played in a while. Really nice graphics and a very professional overall feel. The painless keyboard navigation is really dope!

Street Sesh

So, you think our latest skateboarding game, Skatefall, was a bit pixlish and oldschool? Here's a brand new skateboarder game from Etnies that gave us Downhill Jam a couple of months back. Race down the streets and pull as many tricks as you can THPS-style in this greatlooking shockwavegame. Gnarly!

JIG Game Design Contest

The undisputable king of casual game reviews - Jay is games - has over the past months been hosting a Casual Game Design Contest. Finally, all the wonderful and exciting admissions are up for all to try out and review. The theme of the contest is Puzzlegames, and if you are a somewhat frequent visitor at We Are Game, JIG or other sites/blogs that deals with webgames, you'll be sure to recognise at least a few of the contestants. Some of the best gamemakers we've run across over the last years surfing for casual entertainment have contributed and although not all of the entries are up to their previous achievements they are never the less outstanding to most of the stuff you might find elsewhere.
The 17 competitors are split up into two groups. Entries 1-8 and Entries 9-17. Oh man, you're in for a treat....

Putting Challenge

1. Back straight, knees bent, feet shoulder width apart.
2. Form a loose grip.
3. Keep your head down.
4. Avoid a quick back swing.
5. Stay out of the water.
6. Try not to hit anyone.
7. If you are taking too long, please let others go ahead of you.
8. Don't stand directly in front of others.
9. Quiet please ... while others are preparing to go.
10. Don't take extra strokes.

Caliber Dash

Nice arcadish retroracing from the productive guys at Inbox Digital. This time it's a viral game for Dodge, and as always with the wellproduced games from Inbox you can start your own league and put the pedal to the metal on your invited friends. Instant global ranking adds to the replayability.

One of those games that's not really a game but more of a point and click adventure. Not much to say about it..point and click!

A wellbalanced mindless little game.

GROW Nano Vol.1

Although not as intricate as his previous games, the updated and changed version of Grow Nano still is a nice play (but brief). Mostly because of the smooth organic style and, I don't know, because I just like the stuff Mr Oni has put up before I guess. Just find the hotspots to make the lump grow.

Dolphin Olympics

What? Dolphin Olympics, yeah I know it sounds kinda silly but it is fun. Gain some speed and pull of some nice combos and some nice entries. Maybe not the next Tony Hawk but it's an ok substitute while waiting!

Pio Pio

At first, you think "Ok, those poor fellows over at We are game are getting out of shape. I´ve been playing this kind of games a billion times. Why do they bother to post this one? Are they getting out of shape? (Wait, I´ve already thought that sentence.)"

But then you realize that Pio Pio really is tricky when those Japanese animals start to tilt, shrink and do other stuff with the screen. Sweeeet!

Swinger 2 - Rock n' roll apocalypse

The universe is low on rock, and you are the remedy! Just swing your thingy to collect all blue dots and find the exit on each level. Make the best use of powerups and specialmoves as you avoid traps and evil weaponry. Are being swingers considered rock n' roll..? Rock on!

Skatefall

I'm not a skateboarder. The first (and last?) time I ever tried an ollie I damn near broke both ankles and put a hole in my head the size of a snusdosa. Not for me. Will spend hours happily grinding away and pulling insane tricks on THPS instead. Here's how skateboardinggames used to look like when I was young and about in the good ol' 80:s. Retro to the max!

The Phone

Hello there! I've been out of touch and offline for a couple of weeks during my vacation, but now I'm back. The Phone seemed to be an appropriate post to ascertain my comeback in the world of communication.

Not much of a challenge game-wise, but great graphics, nice and moody, and a sure bet to kill a few minutes. Click and explore to find the next number, dial it to get to the next place.

Metal Slug Cone

Good ol' arcade game, typical platform. Nice graphics and good score. I like this kind of game with big bosses and stuff so go ahead have some fun! Watch how he use a frying pan to hit enemies if you're to close to fire your gun!

The controls are: W=Up, A=Left, S=Crouch and D=Right and J=Fire gun, K=Jump and L=Throw grenade

Not your most graphical stunning adventure but a nice game anyway. Like a mash-up of air-hockey, mini golf and pinball. Toss the ball into red or green (green is better) and avoid the black hole!

Pac - Xon

Thank you Jesus. At last a square game. I have a version of this game on my phone that saved me from a lot of boring trolley rides.

Tube racer

We (seem) to continue our serie of round games. This is Tube racer, a (pseudo) 3D (futuristic) skate board game with the (very cool indeed) feature that make you able to rotate the whole (well) tube.

Roadies

Why would anyone want to become a roadie? It´s not for "the chicks" or the fame or the ego boost. That´s why you want to be a rock star. I mean, all you´re doing is building a stage, and 2 hours after you´ve finished the work, you have to deassemble it again.

In this game, you´re in charge of some roadies. You´re mission is to guide the poor bastards (it´s like they are like lemmings, man) through the exit.

Peanut

Have you just put your brain into a idle position? Well then, this game is for you. Try to hit the peanuts and score some points.

Log Rotation

- More roundness goodness. Rotate the guys in the left circle and try to match the pattern in the right.

Spin It Up

This one feels pretty fresh. Catch the radio waves(?) with your mouse and then then you .... It´s difficult to describee the game man, just check it out will ya??

Bugman

Sorry, but this isn´t really a web game link post that you probably are used to. This is a post about a experiment that the student Wim van Eck did. He built a pacman game in which the ghosts were controlled by crickets. Yes real crickets. Read all about it and watch some clips at the projects website.

Internet Addiction Test

Another quiz. But this time it´s important. Are you addicted to Internet or not? Even if the results said so when I did the test, it doesn´t mean that I can´t control it. I only surf on the weekends and I cant stop right now if I want to. I´m serious.

Really nice game! You are a meat eating plant, obviously you have no legs, so your only option to transport yourself is by grabbing something with your teeth and drag yourself. Creative gameplay and nice graphics makes this one of the best games I've played lately.

Pop Flop!

From the creators of Disco Jungle comes Crazy puzzle slash action game. It really got me hooked for a good amout of time. It's kind of complicated to explain but not that hard to understand so read the instructions and you'll be good to go. There's even a 2-player mode for this game! Be sure to check out the merchandise for this game, I'm really psyched for that wall clock!
