Magneboy

Waddayaknow...the time for wonders are not over. Nitrome has come up with a slightly different gaming concept this time! Not revolutionary in any sense, we've seen puzzlers like this before, but I for one was growing pretty tired of the Nitrome platform style (Toxic, Headcase, Jack frost, Aquanaut and Dirk Valentine). This is a good little game though, and as always, the graphics are pixlishly cool.

Kavalmaja

How hard can it be? Collect 50 or so yellow gems in the maze, toggle doorways by moving onto blue markers, avoid red ones, grey ones will dissappear/move if you have collected the right symbol beforehand. Simple enough, you might think. But this is a Tonypa release, and as you know if you've made contact with his little brainchilds before, it's not all that simple... And of course, there aren't any manual or how-to to fall back on. You have to find out stuff as you go along.

Shift and Shift 2

Shift

Remember Nitromes YinYang? Here's a similar idea. Trapped in a two colored space (research facility?) you have to find your way through each increasingly treacherous level by jumping and more important shifting your color as well as gravity. If you're black, you can only move in the white zones and vice versa.

Shift 2

And while we're at it, heres the sequel, appropriately named Shift 2.

Trigger Ball

Big black balls. Hit 'em all with one shot. Seems straightforward and easy enough, doesn't it? Well, not quite.

Aztec Games

We have'nt posted anything from japanese game developer Aztec to my knowledge. Maybe it's because of ignorance or the fact that neither Jonas or myself are point-and-click-adventure buffs. Never the less, Aztec has a rep for making great, intricate and hard japanese pnc's. And I know a lot of people love this stuff, so here we go!
Perfect for the weekend with nothing else to do or in case of insomnia, 'cause they are tricky and take some time to complete. Happy clickin'.

Jinja (The Shrine)
Solve the mystery of the rocket and asian Pagoda.

Escape from Island
Your plane has crashed on an island. You want to get off.

Escape from Octlien
Lost in space. Weird stuff going on here.

Dr.Dokkoy
Sequel to Escape from Octlien.

Submachine 5 - The Root

Productive little fellow, isn't he? Mr Skutnik has released the latest installment of the Submachine series. If you are a fan (as I am) of his previous pnc:s, you won't be disappointed. This one is just as moody and mysterious as all the Submachines leading up to this one.

Gimme Friction Baby

The title will make perfect sense when you play the game. I've seldom felt more frustrated over simple scripted physics than in this little game. Man! Its addictive, and hard. Don't let the seemingly super lame highscore of 8 on the pic fool you, it's not all that easy... Simple game idea, brilliant execution, super game! (2007 entry in cgdc no 3 on jayisgames)

CoBaCoLi

Now this is more like it! Tonypa has made some pretty interesting and groundbreaking stuff before. Always fresh and always extremely playable in all their simplicity. This time you should break out your poolskills and get the colored rings to touch the colored sides by using the white ring. Bounce off the white sides - if you accidently touch the colored ones with your "cueball" you'll lose a shot. Easy enough, right? Well you'll find out how "easy" it is when those remaining shots just gets fewer and fewer...

Lt. Fly vs The Spiders From Above

Great title and a great game. Or rather two games in one! Not only is it a classic stack 'em up, it's also a shooter. You need to gather ammo by getting four colors in a row and at the same time shoot down the evil attacking spiders. Go on solidier! Get out there and show me your crazy puzzling/markmanship multitasking skills.

Untangle

Puzzler with a somewhat scary soundtrack. Sounds like it's from some B-rated 80:s chick flick or something... brrr.... The game is nice though. Drag the dots and untangle the web so that no lines cross.

Synapsis

Back again after the holidays! Happy everything to everybody by the way. Spent some time the other day clicking my way trough this nice looking puzzler called Synapsis. And I quite enjoyed it as well.

Untraceable

Untraceable is an upcoming serial killer thriller that looks like something like a bad breed of Saw and Die Hard 4.0. I´m not sure if I´m hocked on this one, but it´s hard to tell.

Now, you did´nt come to this blog to read about boring entertainment like movies. You are here to play som bad ass kicking web games. So, let´s cut to the chase. - To promote the film they created this ad game which is a ordinary puzzle game but on a bigger budget which I think is a nice time killer. Do you like it?

Aaah. Japanese wisdom of life masked as a cute and colorful point n' click. A bit "Grow"-like, klick on the right stuff in the right order to progress. Unveil wealth, love, luck, wisdom and a bunch of other stuff to complete your otherwise useless life as a blue teddybear with a matching white turd on your head.

Mission To Mars

Another nice game from Mr. Skutnik at Pastelgames. Just as Mr Mothball 2, this one is quite different from his usual point n' click stuff. It's an increasingly tricky little spacepuzzler. Collect both the energy source and the capstone for the pyramid to open up a portal to the next level.

Excit

Personally, I hate MS Excel. Yeah, I know, it is really a brutally powerful tool if you know how to use it. And yeah, I do use it quite frequently, but being a Macophile I just can't stand the horrible interface... On the other hand I do like a good game, and when you take an old idea and gives it a new "suit" to suit your advergaming purposes, I 'm all in. Even if the "suit" happens to be the oh so horrible MS Excel.

Blockslide II

Being home on paternity leave sure rocks - I can spend all night surfing for games as I'm already up changing diapers and resetting pacifiers... Anyhow. Here's an isometric blocksliding puzzler with no less than 150 levels and an editor for you who just can't get enough of the stuff. (I especially like the little spin the knight does when you solve each puzzle, looks exactly like the thing Tomas Brolin did when he scored.)
