Major update

Oh. My. Gosh. We are rolling out a major new feature here at We are game. It´s something webmasters refers to as "Categories". "Categories" is a way that will certainly improve your visiting experience. How you ask? Well, take a look to the right. Now you could find your favourite gametypes by choosing the "Category" label that matches your taste. Did I say it´s a major update?

Now I´m gonna cry tears of joy and drool over the "pages per visit graph" in Google Analytics. Good night.

Stalingrad 2

This is absolutley one of the best web games this year. It got me hooked for 2 hours straight. (according to my wife we apparently we had nothing to eat so I had leave the game to get some groceries. What a pity.)

It´s a defend the castle game or should I say defend the road game world war II style. You might feel that the game controls is a little bit difficult for being a web game, but it sure pays off to learn the rules. The graphics reminds me of the good old classic Close combat series before it went fps.

Vector Runner

Aaah. The holidays are coming, and what better to do than waste a little time between excessive eating and gift-unwrapping than playing a little racing game. And with a little imagination, your blue square is Santas sleigh and the obstacles you have to dodge as stylized christmas trees. Merry Christmas!

Jack Frost

Another day, another game from Nitrome. Guess they can't go on holiday without meeting the quota or something. I like this one better than the last. Classic gaming with a wintery feel. Freeze up the whole level to go on to the next.

13 Days In Hell

It would seem they just can't get enough. No matter how many you put down, wether with clean headshots or gory blasts to the stomach, they just keep on coming. But hey! Wouldn't be much of a zombiegame otherwise, right? And as you may have noticed, we have a slight fetisch for zombiegames. So here's another one. Load up and blast away!
(And, oh, if you want more zombie-slaughtering fun - click the zombies label below. Or here: More Zombies.)

Snow Drift

Here we go again. Another release from Nitrome. A not so innovative platformer with somewhat lousy control. ...might it be that they are trying too hard to keep up the rate of putting out new games to the cost of quality and playability perhaps...? Still looks good though.

Areas

I think it´s so frickin awesome, how many different approaches to the old Astroids classic people can come up with. Area is another variant, with some slick black and white graphics and and a very inovative game play.

Untraceable

Untraceable is an upcoming serial killer thriller that looks like something like a bad breed of Saw and Die Hard 4.0. I´m not sure if I´m hocked on this one, but it´s hard to tell.

Now, you did´nt come to this blog to read about boring entertainment like movies. You are here to play som bad ass kicking web games. So, let´s cut to the chase. - To promote the film they created this ad game which is a ordinary puzzle game but on a bigger budget which I think is a nice time killer. Do you like it?

Snow riders

Believe it or not but this game, riding snow scooters and throwing grenades on each other, is the unofficial national sport of Sweden. And the official? Just throwing grenades on each other.

Besides that, I´m getting more and more impressed of the capabilities with the 3D engine in Director. The rumor has it that the new Frostbite engine developed for Battlefield: Bad company is entirely based on Adobe Director 9.

Tetrical

Aaaargh. If you are in the mood for a real challenge while still wanting to get that retrogaming fun, try this one out. Tetris isometric 3D. Man, thats hard. Think I have to go and practice a bit with my sons lego instead...

Zwingo

Nice use of ball physics - swing your own white ball to knock the attacking black ones off the scene. Don't let the black balls nudge your center white ball outside of the thin white boundary though. And watch out for the bosses that appear every tenth level - they take some beating.

30 Days Honey

If you fancy resource-gathering games and also has a soft spot for stinging insects, this one is right up your alley. My father actually was a beefarmer once. Pretty fun, and yeah, fresh honey do taste good, but the fun came to an end when he decided to put two hives in the back yard. I was fourteen and in charge of mowing the grass. ...Let me tell you - bees don't like lawnmowers any more than I like getting stung. Not one of my better summers.

You Are Lucky!

Aaah. Japanese wisdom of life masked as a cute and colorful point n' click. A bit "Grow"-like, klick on the right stuff in the right order to progress. Unveil wealth, love, luck, wisdom and a bunch of other stuff to complete your otherwise useless life as a blue teddybear with a matching white turd on your head.

Mission To Mars

Another nice game from Mr. Skutnik at Pastelgames. Just as Mr Mothball 2, this one is quite different from his usual point n' click stuff. It's an increasingly tricky little spacepuzzler. Collect both the energy source and the capstone for the pyramid to open up a portal to the next level.
