Manifold

...yeah, yeah, I plucked this one from Jayisgames as well, but damn it! It's good! Clever use of physics and neat monochromatic design. I like.

Trapped Part 1 - The White Rabbit

I seldom have the patience to click my way through these "escape the room"-puzzlers. Especially as there seems to be an infinite number of them being produced each day. But this one had me intrigued. And isometrics is always cool.

Bloxorz

Really addictive game where you put your logic skills to the test. Move your stone column with the arrowkeys and get to the hole. The only thing I'm missing in this game is some good bakgroundmusic!

Name the Game

Time to perk up your ears and go retro. Name the game by matching the ingame soundeffect to the classic videogame. Hmmm, thought I would nail most of 'em considering my age, but dang! I only got 7 out of 18... Could be that my hearings going perhaps...

Platform The Game

To sooth any upset feelings about stolen ideas (see previous post), here's another truly great platformer. As in Yin Yang you switch between characters and have to work them like a team to accomplish each level. There's a new level up every week and a storyline to carry it. Really good stuff! If the shockwave plug in just could stop messing with my ATI graphic card....

YinYang

Bad, bad Nitrome... Seems that they stole the idea for their latest game from a guy named Sean Howard and didn't even bother to give him any credits. (See comments). Thanks for the heads up, Mathijsbuster.

Can't help but again marvel at the speed wich Nitrome puts out amazing new games. Posted one last week, and here's a brand new one! Clever concept to enhance an otherwise pretty straightforward platformer. You need to get both Yin and Yang to the finishing flag. Yin moves only in the black areas and vice versa. You can swap between them and with a small amount of strategy make 'em help eachother out by moving boxes. Sometimes you have to spin the whole level around to reach some hard to get to places. Watch out for worms and collect the coins. Very clever and enjoyable. At least for me as I'm home on sickleave today and can surf the web to my hearts delight without having to hide it from the boss...

Hoshi Saga II

Sequel to, you guessed it, Hoshi Saga. Same game, new levels. As before the goal is to find the hidden star. Not very tricky, and not much of a game in the classic sense, but pretty relaxing and likeable. And, of course, japanese.

Memory Puzzle

Ready for a trip down Memory Lane...? Yup, it's the childhood classic Memory Puzzle. I reckon you know the drill, match the symbols to make 'em disappear. The difference is that it will fill up with new symbols and as you match them, the columns will slide down - making it harder to remeber where the f**k that little pig went. (Tried my skills with the real boardgame, insect-memory, with my nephew some months back. He's 4 years old and beat me with 18 to 2... And no. I'm not going senile. I'm pretty sure he cheated and will beat the crap out of the little bastard in Quake III Arena if his mother just lets him...)

Ramps

And here's yet another simple idea that is well presented and damn playable. Guide an orb to the goal by tilting the ramps. Nice one!

Clix

Pure puzzler. It doesn't need to be more complex than this. Simple, well executed and addicting.

We Are Still Game

Here it is, post nr 600! We started out in early 2006 with an ambition to regularly (on a daily basis) post our favourite games found all over the mighty internet. We decided that what we were posting at least should hold some criteria, and not to post any ol' crap. Of course, it's all in the eye of the beholder, but we tried to find stuff that felt fresh and were in some way creative in style, gameplay, concept, humour or similar. Then, in the early days we were about seven contributors, by now our numbers has dwindled considerably. Me and Jonas are still at it though, trying hard to update a couple of times per week. Hopefully we'll increase with at least one more We Are Gamer in the near future and we are in negotiations with former member Joacim to take up his posting again. All to bring you some of the very best of casual webgames. And of course, if you happen to stumble upon something you think we ought to post - don't hesitate send us an email. 600, going on 6000.

Paper Critters

Create your own critters and publish them on your web site or print them out. A wonderful addictive web toy made by JR Fabito as a final project at Academy of Art University. A great example of what you can do with Flash nowadays.

If it´s your analog day today, do check out this similar site.

Downhill Mayhem

I had a unicycle once. I never learned how to do tricks on that one either. Pull tricks and rack up combos in this downhill racing game. And, oh, the most important feature - choose your shave, you can't race without a goatee....

Flash WiiBasketball

And the winner of suckiest graphics in a web game goes to "Flash WiiBasketball". But who cares when the game play is fun, tricky and original?

Drag your mouse to shot the ball into the net.

Guardian Popon

Nice japanese minigame, perfect for a coffeebreak. Hoist the Jolly roger and defend your castle by launching, errr, bears (might recognise them from previously posted Very Bear Brother) to destroy the attacking ships.
