The Funny Chameleon Game

Yeah right. Funny.... Maybe not the word I would have choosen to describe this game. I could go with quick, fast, spinning or something like that - it's not that bad a little game, actually, but "funny"...? Nah... Guaranteed to make your mouseclicking forearm spasm if you manage to make it past level 8. A quicky for the coffebreak.

Submachines!

Mateusz Skutnik, polish flash game architect and graphic novelist has released his latest sequel in his awesome "Submachine" point-n-click series. We have posted some of them previously here on We Are Game, but as it was a while ago, we'll gather 'em again in one nice posting. If you have'nt played them, you're in for a treat and some hours of high quality puzzling. Enjoy!

Submachine 1: The Basement
From 2005. The first Submachinegame.
Made quite an impact for fans of the genre.

Submachine 2: The Lighthouse
The first sequel from 2006.
Maybe a tad bit harder than the first one.

Submachine 3: The Loop
The third game came later in 2006.
More of a puzzler than adventure.

Submachine 4: The Lab
The fourth chapter in the series. (And the last ?)
Brand new, april 2007.

Submachine 0: The ancient adventure
This one was made as an entry to a JIG-contest in 2006.
Much shorter and easier then the rest. Has little or nothing to do with the main Submachine storyline, but is never the less a good little puzzler to end the Mateusz Skutnik bonanza.

Feed The Head

Well, not so much a game per se, perhaps, mor of a webtoy- but never the less good for a couple of minutes worth of playing around. Poke about to find out what happens to the gigantic blue head. That's about it, really.

Dwarf Complete

The wonderfully weird japanese gamemaker On has made a lovely adventure/maze/escape the room kind of game. As I understand it, it has something to do with characters from an RPG called Lineage II. Plays just fine on it's own anyway. And it comes with a nice autosave function so you easily can pick up where you frustratingly gave up the last time... (Check out the other On-games as well if you haven't before: Grow Nano V.02, Grow Nano V.01, Grow V2.0b, Vanilla, ...to name a few.

The Terrific Menace Of The Invaders of Audiogalaxy

Aha! I've had my eyes on this one for a while. An italian game that finally are translated into english for all us non-italian speakers. A bit slow and sluggish, but pretty nice as point-and-click adventures go. Kind of reminds me of the LucasArt-classic "Day of the Tentacle". Molto bene! Here's the developers own description of the game:
Turin 2010.
How original: an alien spaceship is approaching Earth.
A beam fired from this interstellar craft hits the home of an unassuming boy, abducting him and his computer.
Onboard the spaceship he awakens trapped within a strange sealed transparent cell, destined to unravel the terrific menace before him. To stop the invading aliens and their musical evil plan (to enslave all humanity of course) our young hero will have to undertake an adventure through time, visiting musical legends in Turin, London, and even the legendary Woodstock!

Chick-Chick-Boom

How are your tracing skills? I know mine usually are pretty sharp, but unfortunately I left my Wacom at work, and just using the pad on my laptop seriously cramps my style. Trace the symbols to launch different attacks on your opponent - the fabled evil genious "the Posterbunny". The better the trace, the more powerful your attack will be. Anyway... a sweet little eastergame by Nintendo!
